Learn the (mostly) lost art of holding Yoga postures for a longer duration to reap the following benefits:

  • An experience of inner stillness, which is the doorway to Consciousness-our true nature.
  • Developing vairagya bhava – observing all phenomena for what they are, without attachment or identification.
  • Increasing awareness of the body and mind – teaches you when to listen to the body and make adjustments, and when to observe the restlessness of the mind without giving in.
  • Passively stretching and relaxing deeper muscles and connective tissues.
  • Regulating the functioning of all internal organ systems.
  • Lubricating joints and improving mobility.
  • Clearing blockages in all the energy channels and improving energy circulation, which is necessary to feel healthy and content.

You will meet with the teacher once a week and learn a set of practices. For the rest of the week, you will practice on your own whatever you have learnt. Eventually, you should be established in a daily practice routine and feel confident about practicing on your own. We suggest signing up for 10-12 sessions to build a good foundation for your practice, but you’re welcome to choose a number that works for you.
